Le Bleu Central Expands Into Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE – Le Bleu Central Distributors, a provider of Le Bleu vapor compression distilled water and cooler systems, has announced that it will be expanding its distribution facility in the Cumberland Industrial Center (CIC) to include distillation and bottling operations. The company will invest over $1.2 million and create three full-time jobs.

Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, Le Bleu Central Distributors has been providing local residents with Ultra Pure Bottled water, beverage services, and commercial water cooler rentals since 2001. Le Bleu Central became an independent licensee of the Advance, NC-based Le Bleu Corporation in 2014.

The company’s expansion at 565 Assembly Ct. includes the purchase of a fractional vapor compression distiller and other components to bottle water in 3 and 5 gallon sizes. This development furthers Le Bleu’s environmentally conscious mission to produce its products as close to customers as possible, eliminating unnecessary waste in shipping. The project also includes a $25,000 investment for improvements to the facility.

“The community fought to bring this new bottling operation to the area and worked professionally and diligently to support our business plan,” said Brock Agee, President & CEO of Le Bleu Central Distributors. “The overwhelming support we received allowed us to quickly move forward with this project and increase our ability to provide Ultra-Pure bottled water to the families and businesses of this area.”

Le Bleu Central expressed their appreciation to the Cumberland County Planning and Inspections Department, PWC, and the Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) who worked to secure necessary permits, approve a site plan, and upgrade the site’s water and electric capacity. “This is a great example of our public-private partnership that is actively working to facilitate industry growth,” said County Chairman Larry Lancaster. “Companies can expect a business-friendly community with an aggressive focus on development when they locate and expand in Cumberland County.”

The new positions include annual salaries ranging from $25,000 to $45,000 and comprehensive benefits packages. Le Bleu Central has already hired a Production Manager, Full-Time Sales Executive, and Production Staff with expected future growth over the next two years. Andrew Pennink, the Chairman of the FCEDC Board of Directors said, “We are excited to see this company invest in our community and look forward to their continued success.”
